With some delay due the heavy workload at Mandriva offices, i manage to provide some experimental packages for Mandriva 2008 Spring.
A standard urpmi repository is available.
Please refer to README for detailed information.

This is not for 2008 Spring
I am very sad that I can find the packages in cooker source for 2008.1, it only for 2009.0. That's not that as you said. Maybe it my careless that I do not find it.
If I choose to install the KDE4.1 packages for 2009.0, it will be requested to install a lot of other packages even the kernel.
Can you tell me a URL for the KDE4.1 RC1 packages wiht the suffix 2008.1. Thank you.
Yes, I got it as follow. But
Yes, I got it as follow. But still no 64bit version.
ftp://ftp.kde.org/pub/kde/unstable/4.0.98/mandriva/RPMS/i586/
Forgot...
Forgot to say that I readed the README but it does not say anything else than mention cooker. I'm littlebit afraid to get from there if KDE4 goes to /usr/ and KDE3 moves to /opt/ as on 2009 beta2
urpmi repository?
Is the urpmi repository the cooker for RC1 packages?
Does those have special naming so if I update to this, I dont get 2009 beta2 packages?
It is great to see finaly these packages for stable release. KDE and GNOME should be always available for testing purpose by externality if cooker version is such that updateing is impossible without broking the whole system
