I just want to say that I really love Kubuntu. I've been using Linux for a while, and I've used a lot of different distros. Power user distros like Slackware and Arch Linux, and easy to use distros like Mandrake and OpenSuSE. I still have a look at other distros from time to time but I always come back to Kubuntu. So many things "just work", but without sacrificing control or adding bloat. And I love all the Kubuntu specific customisation that you do, I think you make the right choices for a desktop system.
