On "GMail and Konqueror"

thiago's picture

I was reading carewolf's blog and I decided to post a comment there. Here it is reproduced for greater visibility:

Then stop
Stop making the effort of reading such obviously and blatantly obfuscated code. You've done quite a lot of work, and the community surely thanks you many times over for it. However, if they keep breaking it, then it'll never end.

Instead, everyone who has a GMail account and wants to use Konqueror, mail Google now and make them write Konqueror support.

i seached for quite a while but i can find a good email adress to write, complain to... I only find this shitty form:
https://services.google.com/inquiry/gmail_suggest/

Maybe is we can find a small list of GMail develep emails from the Mozilla/Safari mailing/commit lists and post it here we can make more impact.

cheers
Cies Breijs.

shitty form

So? Complain. Complain to the point that they will get annoyed at all those KDE idiots demanding it should work with Konqueror Smiling

I mean, a bit of pro KDE grassroots action is good, innit?

Clarification

I am not advocating flooding their mailboxes with "make it work with konqueror dammit" emails.

No. I want serious people who want to see GMail work in their preferred browser to send educated emails to the admins and ask them kindly to make it happen. In special, tell them it already works, as long as they don't keep on breaking it.

jeez...

okay i've chosen the word 'complain' to express myself...

and even before i found an address to send my complain im allready implicitly called "uneducated".

_cies.

You got me wrong

Sorry, I wasn't referring to you. Not at all.

I was just afraid that my blog, created on the spur of the moment, would generate a flood of uneducated emails to Google. We certainly don't need that.

I didn't mean to imply that you would do that.
